For over a century, Maison Hamm has been bringing sparkle to simple moments and special occasions alike. Based in Aÿ for generations, we craft our champagne with the same spirit that brings friends together around a table: respect for the terroir, a love of sharing, and sincere attention to every detail. The result of meticulous selection and expertise passed down for over a hundred years, this champagne reflects a family history – a history of shared harvests, laughter in the cellar, and a constant love for what nature has to offer. Champagnes to be enjoyed with loved ones, to celebrate what matters most: the moments that bring us together.

The story

Since 1910, the Emile Hamm family business has been part of the historic landscape of Aÿ. Over the generations, passionate men and women have passed on their expertise as one would share a good moment, refining their techniques to create champagnes whose quality is universally recognized. True to its artisanal spirit, the House retains that little touch of freedom that allows it to imagine authentic wines, created from precise blends and carefully selected grapes from the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley, and the Côte des Blancs. In short, it is a story of passion, terroir… and shared pleasure.

Since 1910

Since 1910, Champagne Hamm has been perpetuating the subtle art of blending with simplicity and passion, bringing to life cuvées that are part of a living tradition. Each champagne is designed to be shared, awakening the senses and offering pure, unadulterated pleasure with every sip. Beneath the house, our cellars guard this expertise, passed down over time, bearing witness to a history of Champagne celebrated for over a century – and still driven by the desire to create connections around a fine bottle.

To a new vision

At the end of 2024, Maison Emile Hamm joined the Iconic Nectars group, led by the Renaud Cointreau family, and Odilon de Varine. Together, they are breathing new life into the company while remaining deeply respectful of its spirit. This evolution is part of a shared desire to preserve and bring to life the heritage of renowned family expertise, nurtured by the best terroirs in Champagne. In this spirit of continuity, the passion and excellence that have built the House’s reputation will not only continue, but also shine even brighter, guided by a team united around the same values.

Terroir of Champagne

In the heart of a landscape shaped by centuries of expertise, Champagne Hamm celebrates the richness and diversity of the Champagne region. Our cuvées are born from unique soils, where chalk and clay give the vines incomparable minerality and freshness. Each plot tells a story, each harvest reveals the uniqueness of its origin. We carefully blend the three emblematic grape varieties – Chardonnay for its elegance and liveliness, Pinot Noir for its structure and depth, and Meunier for its suppleness and fruity notes. This subtle balance reflects a generous terroir and expertise passed down with passion, to create champagnes that fully express the soul of Champagne, and with the desire to share them.
